🩺🏥 Take a look at highlights from Tuesday’s JAG field trip! Our students interested in the medical field had the incredible opportunity to visit Opelousas General Health System, where they heard from inspiring professionals including Lance Armentor, President & CEO; Brian Adams, Pediatrician; Kim Dakin, Otolaryngologist (ENT); and Rebecca Hollier, HR Supervisor. Students gained valuable insight into careers in healthcare and what it takes to succeed in the industry.
🎓 They also toured the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where our wonderful tour guide, Mr. Bryce, showed us the campus grounds—including the beautiful swamp that makes the university so unique! Students were able to see firsthand what life looks like on a college campus and explore future opportunities.

🎬✨ We were honored to welcome Roger J. Timber — multitalented actor, author, and motivational speaker — to MACA! A proud member of SAG-AFTRA with more than 40 television and film credits, his work includes appearances on Law & Order, Young Sheldon, The Lincoln Lawyer, and Insecure.
A Louisiana native and University of Louisiana Lafayette graduate, Roger is also the author of The Adventures of Relle and Ellis children’s book series. His journey from Rayville, Louisiana to Los Angeles is an inspiring reminder that big dreams can start right at home. 🌟📚🎭
